Who is Planet Ark
Planet Ark is an Australian not-for-profit organisation that works closely with businesses, the media, government and the community to get real environmental behaviour change through public education and behaviour change campaigns. Planet Ark's aim is to show people and business the many ways that they can lessen their day to day impact on the environment - at home, at work and in the community.
Message from Planet Ark
"It is well recognized that there are many simple ways we can reduce our impact on the global environment. All that is needed is a little thought and effort.
That is why Planet Ark is glad to support Colonial First State’s ‘Think’ initiative as part of 'PaperCutz 4 Planet Ark'. The production of their investor communications such as reports and statements has a surprisingly big impact.
Together with its customers, Colonial First State can make a positive and lasting environmental impact by moving from paper to electronic investor communications.
In addition to direct impacts there will be an indirect benefit. Colonial First State will donate $2 for each customer who makes the move to electronic communications towards the highly effective 'PaperCutz 4 Planet Ark' campaign, one of Planet Ark’s many campaigns aimed at helping people to reduce their impact on the planet – at home, at work and in the community. So far, they’ve donated over $340,000!
The donations received by Planet Ark from Colonial First State’s ‘Think’ initiative will go to help educate the Australian public on positive behaviour changes we can make to reduce our negative impact on the environment, and so work towards a climate safe future.
