Can investors look up a joint account online
|
In FirstNet Adviser you can view all your client's including all clients that own joint accounts.
|

Rolling over a NON Colonial First State Superannuation
account.
|
To rollover another Superannuation policy to Colonial First
State, you would need to contact that Superannuation company and request a Rollover
Instruction Form. Complete this Instruction Form and return it to them. Your existing
Super Fund will arrange for your account to be transferred to Colonial First State. If you
do not have a Superannuation Fund with Colonial First State you would need to complete and
application form from the current prospectus/Product Disclosure Statement.

When do investors receive their statements?
|
Investors will receive a quarterly statement for our Managed
Investment Fund, Personal Pension Plan, Bricks & Mortar Fund, Cash Management Trust
and Wholesale Fund. The Rollover & Superannuation Fund statement is posted
half-yearly. You may always print a client's interim statement from the FirstNet Adviser
site.

FirstNet Adviser is Colonial First State’s internet site that specifically allows you to access your clients' Colonial First State investment details quickly and easily, as well as obtain access to the latest market and performance information. Specifically, FirstNet Adviser allows you to access your clients:

Gaining access to FirstNet Adviser
|
|
You can gain access FirstNet Adviser by completing the FirstNet Adviser registration form and sending it in to the address indicated on the form.
This will allow us to issue you with a Online Identity Number and password, providing a high
level of security.

Getting started on FirstNet Adviser
|
|
Once you have our letter confirming your registration for
FirstNet Adviser, you have all the information you need to get started. The first
step is to go to the Internet site at www.cfs.com.au
and click on the FirstNet login button at the top of the page. It will ask you to type in
your Online Identity Number and password. You can view an automated demonstration of FirstNet Adviser at any time by
clicking here to active the demonstration version

About OIN's & password |

What is an Online Identity Number?
|
An Online Identity Number" (OIN) is an investor's unique customer identifier that allows them to login to FirstNet and FirstLink. It is
different to the investor's individual account number(s). |

What is a password?
|
Your password is a 6-digit number that you use
to login to FirstNet Adviser. It can only consist of numbers ie. 333033. |

How do I change my PIN?
|
You need to login to FirstNet Adviser using your
existing password and select "Change password". Here, you enter your existing password then enter your new password twice. |

What happens if I lose or forget my password?
|
If you believe or suspect that your password has been lost or stolen or become known to someone else you should contact the Adviser Services Centre on 13 18 36 and request that a new password is
sent to you. For security purposes your new password must be mailed to you, it cannot be given
out over the phone. It is important that you change your password frequently to maintain the
high level of security. |

Automatic password display - how to turn on or off in Internet Explorer
|
Internet Explorer offers the option to store your password details for forms from various web sites. If you would like to turn this feature off and clear your passwords from the memory, please follow these steps:
- While in Internet Explorer, click 'Tools' > 'Internet Options'
- Once on the internet options screen, select the 'Content' tab.
- Click the 'AutoComplete' button on the lower half of the screen
- Click the 'Clear Passwords' button to remove all passwords from memory. If you want to ensure you are never prompted about this again, ensure that no tick appears next to 'Prompt me to save passwords'.
- Click 'OK' to complete this change.
If you would like the automatic password display functionality to remain, then place a tick next to “User names and Passwords on forms” and “Prompt me to save passwords” in this section.

What about the security of FirstNet Adviser?
|
When you signup for FirstNet Adviser you are given a Online Identity Number and a Personal Identification Number (PIN)
that must be entered each time you log onto the secure site. By using either Netscape (version 6.0 or higher) or Internet
Explorer browsers (version 5.5 or higher) our security system protects your communications
through user authentication and data encryption. Our web site is 128-bit encryption
enabled, the highest level of security available. |
